Transfection

The price of our newly developed tranfection reagent, NeoFectin, is 40% lower than our major competitor

NeofectinTM is a newly developed, easy-to-use transfection reagent for DNA deliveries. NeofectinTM, combines two proven gene delivery platforms, polyethylenimine (PEI) and cationic lipid based formulations. PEI polymer is known for its efficiency in condensation of DNA plasmid and PEI formulations can facilitate DNA uptake by cells and protect DNA from degradation in endosomes. Cationic liposome is effective in initiating lipid mixing for fusion of membrane and liposome formulations can facilitate release of DNA from endosomes. Our proprietary formulation methods successfully integrate these two platform technologies and produce a much improved transfection agent, NeofectinTM. NeofectinTM delivers superior performance with no toxicity commonly known for liposome based formulations and has been evaluated on many mammalian cells, include many difficult-to-transfect primary cells.
